About Blood Eagles EU
Blood Eagles are a Guild in the game Dark Age of Camelot. We’re in the realm of Midgard, which follows the Norse mythology.
We’re a guild that most operates in the European timezone for those of us that think getting a group or doing PvP at midnight or later because that’s when it’s early evening in the USA is not suitable. We’re friendly, helpful and don’t take ourselves too seriously. We remember that DAoC is a game and is about having fun, not being so far up ourselves we can see what we had for breakfast.
Members are encouraged to group, play and explore together. We believe DAoC is more fun when played as part of a guild that’s there to help and encourage you. Dark Age of Camelot has changed a lot over the past 15 years, but there’s still a place for how guilds used to be run.
Guild History
We were originally a guild from the realm of Midgard on one of the old and now defunct European DAoC servers. We were a quite friendly and active guild that participated mostly in PvE, but with a good amount of PvP thrown in. We were active members of the Saruman’s Hand alliance and often participated in realm defence activities. Of course this is back when people actually cared whether their realm was getting raped by Albion and Hibernia.
Meldayende, the Founder of the current Blood Eagles EU was a co-guildmaster of the original Blood Eagles and intends to run the guild in the same vein. That is to say friendly, fun and helpful. Some of the members of the original Blood Eagles will also be taking up senior positions within the new guild.
